*Tetranychus urticae* feeding on a plant leaf. This notorious agricultural pest genome contains an unprecedentedly large number of genes involved in xenobiotics detoxification, including 80 genes that code for uridine diphosphate glycosyltransferases. TuUGT202A2 has been linked to the ability of this pest to adapt to tomato plants. This enzyme can glycosylate a wide range of flavonoids used for plant defenses. Figure courtesy of Drs.
